ACS-YA ST🌎P: Let’s Recycle! Stand up to Stop Pollution and Cancer
To celebrate our students' efforts and hard work.

What is the recycling program?
ACS-YA’s recycling program allows students to support efforts to conserve the environment as well as the American Cancer Society’s efforts to fight cancer, issues that are becoming increasingly interlinked with one another. Students are encouraged to recycle as part of activities to mitigate climate change, with climate change being an ever-growing obstacle to the fight against cancer.

What are some more details?
Students recycle their plastics, the proceeds of which go directly to ACS’ Zelle at ACSYA.recycle@gmail.com. This program is led by student leaders Claire Chen and Angela Unayan, both of who you can contact at their emails mercurysbackup@gmail.com and angelaunayan@gmail.com respectively.

Statistics
